If you are shouting multiple messages within a macro, you will have to either:
Include
/wait 2
in-between lines (on a new line).Include
<wait.2>
after each line (within that line).
Special Characters
FFXIV contains special Unicode characters that cannot be displayed on this website, but you may copy them from this lodestone blog post and paste them into your macros in-game.
If you are on console, you will have to ask a PC user to paste a list of these special characters in a chat that you share.
General Macros
Introduction (Optional)
Some ideas for pre-train shouts:
Time until the first mark will be released ("5 minutes until we depart!")
Reminder of rewards (hunt currency, tomestones) and to uncap currencies before the train begins.
Reminder of how to earn full credit on hunts.
If the train is large, requests to dismiss chocobos. If the train is small, reminder to summon chocobos.
If someone else has scouted for the train you are running, thank them by name.

Shortcut Macros
Here are macros to help train riders travel to certain marks easily.
Underwater Cave
In The Ruby Sea, there is a location within an underwater cave where an A-Rank may appear.
Confederate Skipper
In The Ruby Sea, the southern-most part of the map can be accessed easily by using the Confederate Skipper NPC at Onokoro.
Doman Enclave Teleport
In Yanxia, the southern-most part of the map can be accessed easily by using The Doman Enclave.
Please note that not everyone has The Doman Enclave unlocked, so you may have to wait for people flying.
Trolley Operator
In Amh Araeng, the south west part of the map can be accessed easily by using the Apprentice Engineer <Trolley Operator> NPC at Twine.
Misc. Macros
These macros are entirely optional, but may help new train riders.
Aetheryte Tickets
This may be shouted after a Stormblood train has concluded.
